FOR THOSE WHO WANT MORE INFORMATION ABOUT ME
A couple people who have not known me have expressed concerns about me. I understand there are scams on the internet which makes it bad for everyone. First, although I have not been active lately, I have been a member of the faceting community since the 80's. I sold cut stones retail online through a website, and also imported and sold quality rough to faceters throughout the country on a different website for years. I specialized in (and very much like) tourmaline. My main career was as a Software Engineer, from which I have now retired. In addition to my Computer Science degree, I alsso have the GIA Colored Stones diploma. For your viewing pleasure I put a photo of a color-change garnet I sold for about $4K many years ago. It was close to 20 ct.
I'm located on Tooele, Utah which is about 45 minutes west of Salt Lake City. Purchasers of the machine can pick it up if you prefer.
As I noted, this is not a "distress sale" and I think the prices are fair considering everything is mostly new, there is no tax to pay, I'm covering the shipping, and it's available now.
As for the reason for the sale listed on the home page, that's all real. I wish it wasn't. I'm going to provide a rather graphic photo that will corroberate that. My lung transplant was done at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City.
